Instructions

This application can convert a Google Earth Pro KML/KMZ file containing a path into a Litchi CSV file.

  • In page one of KML/KMZ to Litchi Waypoint Mission Converter:
    1. Select the desired units to be stored in the Litchi CSV file.
    2. Select the desired path mode.
    3. Choose whether the specified height is above take-off (default) or above ground level.
    4. Select the mission height. This value will be used for all waypoints.
    5. Select the gimbal pitch angle. This value will be used for all waypoints.
    6. Use the file chooser to upload a Google Earth Pro KML/KMZ file.
    7. Generate the mission and review the resulting parameters.
  • In page two of Google Earth Pro KML/KMZ to Litchi Waypoint Mission Converter:
    1. Review the parameters and calculations.
    2. Download the CSV file.
  • In the Litchi Mission Hub:
    1. Import the CSV file created with this application.
    2. Set the following parameters:
      • Drone model
      • Signal loss action
      • Cruising speed
      • Finish action
    3. Go fly!

This web application can be used to convert a Google Earth Pro KML/KMZ file containing a path element into a Litchi waypoint mission. The only data read from the KML/KMZ file are the GPS coordinates. Other waypoint parameters such as height or curve size must be specified below.
